Yamunotri is the source of the holy river, Yamuna. The major attraction there is the temple built in honor of Goddess Yamuna. River Yamunotri is as pious as River Ganga. If you want to please Surya Dev and ask for his blessing, then taking a dip in Yamunotri will help you. It also keeps Yama happy which means he will protect you from any unwanted accidents. In the temple you will find a beautiful black marble idol of Goddess Yamunotri. You need to do some trekking to reach up there but it is worth it. There is also a hot water spring- Surya Kund near the temple which gushes out. You can take this as a prashad with you.

As the name suggests, this place is dedicated to Ganga Maa. She resides in a gorgeous temple there. Gangotri is also the water source of Ganga. The history of this place is incredible and elegant. It was built 250 years ago for the first time by a Nepalese Amar Singh. But, due to a landslide it was renovated again in the 19th century. The temple is white in colour but in close proximity, you will be able to see hinges of light pink. There are mystical views and gorgeous greenery all around.

The temple of Badrinath resides in the beautiful town of Badrinath. It is in the district Chamoli of Uttarakhand. Lord Vishnu sits here. As a result, the importance of this temple in the path to salvation is quite high. The River Alakanda flows by the side and you will find mountains full of snow everywhere. It is a treat for the eyes.

Kedarnath Temple is the abode of Lord Shiva. It is also the main Jyotirlinga out of the twelve. This is a beautiful town and has lots to offer to everyone.. People from ages eight to eighty love Kedarnath.
