Chardham Yatra Tour Package from Delhi – The Complete Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar

Haridwar is one of the Holiest cities in India. The place means “Gateway to God”. Haridwar is so popular that it gets tourists from all over the globe. It is an ideal place for people who want to take a religious tour. There are a lot of religious festivals held here and the sheer assembly of devotees visiting the Har-Ki-Pauri ghat offers divine bliss.

The tour starts with meeting our driver at the Delhi Airport or Railway station according to the mode of transportation you prefer. We will take you to Haridwar and help you settle in the hotel already reserved for you. Once you check-in, take rest for the day. In the evening we shall visit the Ganga Aarti at the Har Ki Pauri Ghat. You can visit the place on your own. However, if you need any help, we are here for you.

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot

On the second day, we shall start our journey from Haridwar. Our destination is Barkot today. Our driver will meet you at the hotel and take you to Barkot via Mussoorie. On the way, you will also see the majestic Kempty Falls. We shall arrange accommodation at Barkot so that you won’t have to worry about it. Check-in and have a comforting overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri and then back to Barkot

The next day, from Barkot, we shall take you to Yamunotri, and this is where your Chardham yatra tour starts. There is a 36 kilometers drive and then a 6 kilometers trek. We will arrange an early morning breakfast and then drive to Janki Chatti from where you can start the trek to Yamunotri. You can also opt for the horse or Doli (at your own cost).

Once you enter the Yamunotri temple, take a bath at the Surya Kund of Yamunotri. The warm and soothing waters of Surya Kund have healing properties. Also, you will see the Divya Shila. This is a rock pillar that is worshipped before entering Yamunotri Temple. Once you complete your darshan of Yamunaji, we shall drive you back to Barkot.

Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi

Our next day destination is Uttarkashi from Barkot. It is a 4 hours drive with a distance of 100 km. We will arrange the morning breakfast and take you to Uttarkashi. On the way to the mesmerizing Uttarkashi, you shall also visit the Shiv Gufa, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, and Shakti Temple. We shall make all the arrangements for accommodations. Check-in at the hotel and have a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back to Uttarkashi

The day starts with an early morning drive to Gangotri. On the way to the majestic Gangotri, you shall also visit the holy lake of Ganganani where you can take a dip in Garam Kund, and then we will drive to Gangotri through the majestic Harsil Valley. The Harsil Valley is popular for the natural beauty and magnificent views of the Deodhar trees and mountains. When you reach Shree Gangotri, take a dip in the holy waters of the river Ganges. This is also called Bhagirathi at the origin. Complete the puja and relax for some time in the beautiful surroundings. After that, we shall drive back to Uttarkashi.

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Sitapur

We will make arrangements for your early morning breakfast at Uttarkashi and then drive to Sitapur. This is where we will start our journey to awe-inspiringly beautiful Kedarnath. Check-in at the hotel and take a rest for the day.

Day 7: Sitapur to Kedarnath

Today we shall be heading to mesmerizing Kedarnath, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India. Once you complete the morning breakfast at Sitapur, our driver will take you to Sonprayag. Right from Sonprayag, there is a 17 km trek to Kedarnath. You can also choose to go by pony or palki instead of walking the trek. However, walking the trek presents a magical experience when you reach the top at the heavenly abode of Lord Shiva and hear the devotees chanting ‘Har Har Mahadev’.

This is an ecstatic feeling which you wouldn’t want to miss. Kedarnath is a living testimony of Lord Shiva’s adventures and actions. It is believed that the Temple was built by the Pandavas as a tribute to Lord Shiva. Kedarnath Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Kedar is also another name of Lord Shiva. Day 8: Kedarnath to Sitapur

After you complete the Kedarnath darshan, we shall take you back to Sitapur. Check into the hotel and experience a soothing overnight stay.

Day 9: GuptKashi to Badrinath

The next day we will drive to Badrinath. Check into the hotel and rest for some time. After that, we shall start by visiting the TaptKund and the Darshan of Badrivishal. Also, we will visit the Aarti in the evening. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the exquisite Badrinath Temple is one of the finest and most ancient Hindu temples in India. The sacred river Alakananda flows right by the side of the Badrinath Temple washing the holy feet of the Lord. It is believed that Lord Vishnu meditated in this sacred location where Goddess Laxmi came to offer shade from the scorching sun in the form of a Badri Tree. Thus, the name Badrinath originated.

The last 11 kilometers to Badrinath is a bit steep ascent. When you reach Devdarshini, you observe the vista of the majestic Badrinath Valley, the township, the spectacular Badrinath Temple, the twin mountain peaks of Nar and Naraya standing guard of each side of the temple, and the Neelkanth mountain residing as the crown on its head. All these perks bring a spiritual upliftment and a heavenly feeling that no other place in the world can offer. Along with the Badrinath Temple, we shall also visit the Mana Village, Vasundhara falls, Bhim Pul, and Vyas Gufa.

Day 10: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag

After breakfast, we will drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. On the way, we shall also take you to the Narsingh Temple in Joshimath. Later we shall drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. We shall arrange the hotels for you. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at Rudraprayag.

Day 11: Rudraprayag – Haridwar

After breakfast, we will drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh. This is the ‘town of sages’ and is one of the most celebrated spiritual towns in India. It is surrounded by the spectacular Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides.
