7 DEVI DARSHAN 04 NIGHTS / 05 DAYS EX DELHI


Description

Day 01: Delhi – Chandigarh – Mansa Devi

On arrival at New Delhi Airport/Railway Station you will meet and will be assist by our cab driver and then drive to Chandigarh (250 km 5 hour journey). On arrival check into hotel, after taking some rest, visit the Mata Mansa Devi Mandir  which is located in the Panchkula district of Haryana and on the foothills of Shivalik mountain ranges. Devotees swarm this prominent Shakti Temple and tie a thread around a tree situated inside the Temple premises. It is believed that doing so will fulfill their wishes. Evening return to hotel, overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Chandigarh – Naina Devi – Chintpurni Devi – Baglamukhi

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Naina Devi (105 km 2.5 hours journey). On arrival visit Shri Naina Devi Mandir.  The Temple is located on a hill top and is accessible by stairs as well as cable car. The sacred shrine is one of the 51 Shaktipeethas, as it is believed to be the place where the eyes of Sati fell down. After paying your respects and performing your puja rituals, you will then be taken to Chintpurni (110 km 3 hours journey). Mata Chintpurni Devi is also known as Mata Shri Chhinnamastika Devi. Devotees have been visiting this Shaktipeeth for centuries to pray at the lotus feet of Mata Shri Chhinnamastika Devi. They bring with them their worldly concerns and seek blessings from  Devi. It is believed that if you ask something from the Devi with a true heart, your wish will be granted.  Then drive to BAGALAMUKHI DEVI Temple (33 KM 45 minutes journey). In Hinduism, Bagalamukhi or Bagala is one of the ten mahavidya goddesses.Overnight stay in hotel.

 Day 03: Jawalaji – Brijeshwari Devi – Chamunda Devi

Early morning visit to JAWALAJI Temple also called the "Flaming Goddess" . It lies in the valley of Beas and is built over some natural jets of combustible gas believed to be a manifestation of the goddess Devi Bhagwati Jawalamukhi.  Jwala Devi a legend avers that the flames proceed from the mouth of demon Jalandhara, the Daitya King whom Shiva over-whelmed with mountains. After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Kangra (50 km 1 hour journey) and visit Maa Brijeshwari Devi Temple located in the town of Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. As per Hindu mythology, when Sati's body was cut into different pieces by Lord Vishnu, the remaining parts fell in this place. Some devotees cut off their tongue as a sign of devotion to the Goddess. Maa is worshipped here in the form of a pindi. The offerings to the Goddess are divided into three parts each for Mahalakshmi, Mahakali and Mahasaraswati. Then drive to Chamuda (24 km 45 min journey) and visit CHAMUNDA DEVI, also known as Chamundi and Charchika, who is a fearsome aspect of Devi, the Divine Mother and one of the seven Matrikas (mother Goddesses). The name is a combination of Chanda and Munda, two monsters whom Chamunda killed. Here Lord Shiva is present in the form of death, destruction & dead bodies along with Devi Chamunda. In the temple the devotees can see scenes from the Devi Mahatmya, Ramayana and Mahabharata. On either side of the Devi's image is Hanuman and Bhairo.

Day 04: Chamunda – Dharamshala sightseeing

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Dharamshala. On arrival proceed for local sightseeing.  Visit Gyuto Monastery and then visit international Cricket Stadium, War Memorial. Then drive to Mcleodhanj. Mcleodganj is a famous hill Station and home of Buddhist Guru Dalai Lama. Visit Bhagsu Nag Temple, Buddhist Monastery, Tibetan Market etc. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Dharamshala – Delhi Departure

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Delhi (470 km 11 hours journey). Our cab driver will drop you at Airport/Railway station.
