Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up From Amritsar

Pick up from Amritsar Railway station/ Airport and drop at hotel then Visit to partition museum, Jallianwala Bagh, Golden Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.

Jallianwala Bagh

Jallianwala Bagh is a historic garden and ‘memorial of national importance’ in Amritsar, India, preserved in the memory of those wounded and killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre that occurred on the site on the festival of Vaisakhi, 13 April 1919.It houses a museum, gallery and a number of memorial structures. The 7-acre (28,000 m2) garden site of the massacre is located in the vicinity of the Golden Temple complex, the holiest shrine of Sikhism and is managed by the Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Trust, which was established as per the 'Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Act, 1951.

One gets the true sense of patriotism and how our countrymen fought against the unjust British rule. How so many people were ruthlessly massacred at that exact spot gives one the real goosebums. It is a truly thrilling and emotional visit which one must certainly

Day 2: Wagah Border Sightseeing

After breakfast we proceed to Vaishnodevi Temple, Gobindgarh Fort, War Memorial, Waga Border. The wagah border parade begins at 5:15 PM in summers and 4:15 PM in the winters and it is always better to reach 45 minutes earlier due to entry timings.

Wagah Border

The Attari- Wagah border is one where a ceremony takes place. Soldiers from both India and Pakistan perform the parade with utmost vigour, strength and confidence reflecting in every move. It surely gives us the feel with which a soldier is able to risk his life for the country’s safety at the borders. Flags of both India and Pakistan are lowered by their respective soldiers at sunrise, and what a face off it is. One cannot miss this highly enthusiastic and patriotic ceremony if visiting Amritsar

Day 3: hussainwala Sightseeing

After breakfast then visit to shahid ganj Gurudwara, ram tirath mandir, Sada pind. Proceed for Hussainiwala for border parade. First visit death memorial of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev and then attend Hussainiwala border parade. Overnight stay at hotel

Hussainiwala is a village just before the Pakistan border and is the place where Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his partners were cremated. Now there exists the National Martyr memorial in memory of the freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev and many such patriotic people. It is a very emotional and heart touching experience to read about their deaths. One could really imagine the patriotism running in those peoples blood at that time, it is because of such brave fighters that we are today a free country. After visiting the memorial, proceed to the Hussainiwala border for the flag retreating parade which I must say is a once in a lifetime experience. You are closer to the action as compared to Wagah border and the parade is just as energetic, if not more.
